New press

Our old press was too small. With larger batches we had to divert into a mash tank and move the mash a second time — and every extra movement shows up in the wine later. The new press holds enough that this detour disappears. Fewer transfers, less pumping, less friction: that is the whole improvement, and we expect a lot from it.

Expansion of the vinotheque

The vinotheque is our living room — and on busy days it gets crowded. The expansion adds more tasting space, a new counter and a dedicated shelf for library vintages from the archive cellar. Building happens between harvest and budbreak, so no visiting day is lost.
