Vintage 2024
We picked the Pinot noir reserve 2024 on 5 September in Ried Hutweide in Tattendorf. In the April before, several late frosts had hit parts of the Thermenregion hard, of all places. It is a dry red, and there are 1.000 litres of it.

Ried Hutweide
The grapes for Pinot noir reserve 2024 grow in the Ried Hutweide vineyard in Tattendorf, on pure gravel that holds hardly any water and naturally has little humus. Its rows are green all year, sown with clover, phacelia and buckwheat instead of grass. We use no herbicides.
The 2024 harvest
We harvested Pinot noir reserve 2024 on 5 September 2024. The must measured 21 °KMW: the Klosterneuburg must scale shows how much sugar is in the grape juice, one degree being roughly one per cent.
