The 2025 harvest
The must for Zweigelt selection 2025 measured 20.5 °KMW: the Klosterneuburg must scale shows how much sugar is in the grape juice, one degree being roughly one per cent.
What the figures say
Zweigelt selection 2025 has 13.4 % vol. alcohol, 0.8 g/l residual sugar and 5.6 g/l acidity. It is made in a dry style, which under wine law means no more than 4 g/l residual sugar, or up to 9 g/l if the acidity is at most 2 g/l lower.
The sugar-free extract of Zweigelt selection 2025 is 27.9 g/l: everything dissolved in the wine apart from water, alcohol and sugar, such as minerals, acids and tannins. In the laboratory, it showed 37 mg/l free and 81 mg/l total sulphur. Per 100 ml, it has 326 kJ or 78 kcal. It received the official inspection number N 20912/26 after being analysed in the laboratory and tasted by an official panel.
