Vintage 2020
The 2020 Souvignier gris is no longer available at the winery, the 1.200 litres have all been drunk. The page stays anyway, because the wine belongs to us. Souvignier gris is a fungus-resistant variety, a PIWI. We made this vintage in a medium-sweet style: 25,1 grams of residual sugar per litre are balanced by 6,2 grams of acidity; the grapes had 22 °KMW. In Austria the 2020 harvest was set to start later than in previous years, with the main harvest expected for late September and early October. Anyone who still has a bottle in the cellar can look forward to it.
