Vintage 2021
Nepomuk 2021 was our off-dry blend of St. Laurent and Zweigelt from the Ried Steinjoch in Tattendorf. We brought the grapes in on 5 October 2021. Even before the harvest the word for all of Austria was healthy grapes and a good balance between sugar and acidity.

It was harmonious and easy to enjoy. The 2.500 litres have since been drunk, and it is no longer available from the estate. The Nepomuk cuvée selection 2021 was recognised with gold at the Lower Austria State Wine Awards.

Ried Steinjoch
The grapes for Nepomuk cuvée selection 2021 grow in the Ried Steinjoch vineyard in Tattendorf, on pure gravel that holds hardly any water and naturally has little humus. Its rows are green all year, sown with clover, phacelia and buckwheat instead of grass. We use no herbicides.
The 2021 harvest
The must for Nepomuk cuvée selection 2021 measured 20 °KMW: the Klosterneuburg must scale shows how much sugar is in the grape juice, one degree being roughly one per cent.
