Vintage 2022
The 2022 Grüner Veltliner classic is gone; it has all been drunk and there's nothing left at the winery. It came from Ried Neudeck in Teesdorf and we picked it on 16 September. Across Austria, rain set in shortly before the main harvest in 2022, so picking had to be quick. The wine was pale green and clear, with green apple, citrus and white pepper over fine minerality, crisp acidity and a clean finish.
