The 2025 harvest
We harvested the Pinot noir classic 2025 on 20 September 2025. The must measured 18,5 °KMW: the Klosterneuburger Mostwaage (Klosterneuburg must scale) measures how much sugar is in the grape juice; one degree corresponds to roughly one per cent.
What the figures say
Pinot noir classic 2025 has 11.5 % vol. alcohol, 4.2 g/l residual sugar and 5.1 g/l acidity. It is made in a dry style, which under wine law means no more than 4 g/l residual sugar, or up to 9 g/l if the acidity is at most 2 g/l lower.
The sugar-free extract of Pinot noir classic 2025 is 27.3 g/l: everything dissolved in the wine apart from water, alcohol and sugar, such as minerals, acids and tannins. In the laboratory, it showed 30 mg/l free and 74 mg/l total sulphur. Per 100 ml, it has 287 kJ or 69 kcal. It received the official inspection number N 17198/26 after being analysed in the laboratory and tasted by an official panel.
