Frivolo is our Gemischter Satz from the Römerberg in Baden. Gemischter Satz means several varieties grow in the same vineyard and are picked together. We picked on 9 September 2025, at 17 °KMW. The Thermenregion as a whole brought 65.453 hectolitres of wine into its cellars in 2025.

It shows youthful freshness with a delicate muscat note and is made off-dry. There are 2.000 litres in total. At competitions the Frivolo Gemischter Satz 2025 collected gold at the Lower Austria State Wine Awards.

Ried Römerberg
The grapes for Frivolo Gemischter Satz 2025 grow in the Ried Römerberg vineyard in Baden. Its rows are green all year, sown with clover, phacelia and buckwheat instead of grass. We use no herbicides.
The 2025 harvest
The must for Frivolo Gemischter Satz 2025 measured 17 °KMW: the Klosterneuburg must scale shows how much sugar is in the grape juice, one degree being roughly one per cent.
What the figures say
Frivolo Gemischter Satz 2025 has 10.3 % vol. alcohol, 16.3 g/l residual sugar and 5.3 g/l acidity. It is made in a medium dry style.
The sugar-free extract of Frivolo Gemischter Satz 2025 is 17.8 g/l: everything dissolved in the wine apart from water, alcohol and sugar, such as minerals, acids and tannins. In the laboratory, it showed 34 mg/l free and 113 mg/l total sulphur. Per 100 ml, it has 275 kJ or 66 kcal. It received the official inspection number N 22211/25 after being analysed in the laboratory and tasted by an official panel.
