Purist Chardonnay is our natural wine from the amphora. The grapes arrived in the cellar on 5 October 2021. Autumn 2021 was kind to the harvest, with warm days and cool nights.
Purist Chardonnay is our natural wine from the amphora. The grapes arrived in the cellar on 5 October 2021. Autumn 2021 was kind to the harvest, with warm days and cool nights.
It was fermented on the skins in the amphora and then left unfiltered and unsulphured. The result is a deep amber with golden glints, with dried fruit, honey and an earthy note. Full-bodied and richly textured on the palate, with a long finish. The Purist Chardonnay 2021 was recognised with 94 points at the Organic Wine Award International.
